Dr Tania Pietrzak is a clinical psychologist and a registered behaviour support practitioner and has over 24 years of experience providing cutting edge evidence based therapy to support wellbeing. We offer friendly, affordable, comprehensive mental health care for clients of all ages across a range of diverse mental health issues.

Dr Tania Pietrzak is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, the Australian Psychological Society (Clinical College and Board Approved Supervisor) and is an eligible Medicare, Work Cover, DVA and TAC Provider.

Dr Tania Pietrzak is also an internationally recognised author, professional trainer in CBT, and researcher at La Trobe University (OTARC). Tania has received advanced training in a range of evidence based Cognitive Therapies including EMDR, DBT, Cognitive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Embodied Cognition.

Dr Erin Crowe  (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families.

Erin has a background in public health, aged care and schools. She has experience working with people across the lifespan including children and works with a variety of presentations such as ADHD, adjustment difficulties, anxiety, autism, brain injury, cancer, chronic illness, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss, LGBTQIA+ specific issues, mood disorders, OCD, rehabilitation, relationship difficulties, and trauma. She also conducts diagnostic assessments for children and adults.

Erin adopts a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach that focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Her therapeutic style is flexible, analytical, inclusive and neuroaffirmative. She draws upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Schema therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Sophie Chen is a registered psychologist who works with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and interpersonal difficulties. Sophie has experience delivering therapeutic and behavioural interventions for neurodiverse youths. Sophie has experience assessing ADHD and screening for ASD and has a special interest in working in this area.

Sophie’s background includes offering bilingual support in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to youth, staff, and families in primary, secondary and tertiary education settings. Sophie also speaks Japanese.

Sophie is passionate about building trusting and safe therapeutic relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds and age groups. Her approach is collaborative, empathetic, analytical and change-oriented. Sophie strives to be consistently flexible and reflective throughout her care for the client. She believes all struggles are capable of being reflected upon, and all reflections can become more manageable.

Sophie utilises components of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Brief Solution-Focused therapy, Self-Regulation, and Mindfulness techniques.

Veronica Chen is a warm and dedicated psychologist who enjoys supporting children and adolescents with a range of emotional, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental concerns. She has completed her Master of Clinical Psychology and is currently undertaking further study to work towards clinical endorsement.

Veronica has experience across school, clinic, and community settings, and brings a kind and compassionate approach. While she previously worked as a play therapist, Veronica brings a neuro-affirming lens to her work and is particularly interested in supporting neurodiverse children and adolescents, including those with diverse gender identities. Additionally, Veronica draws on evidence-based approaches such as CBT-E for eating concerns.

Veronica values creating safe, culturally responsive therapeutic spaces for all individuals and families.

Veronica works in Dandenong North on Monday’s 9am – 5pm.

 

Chaya Liberow is very passionate about helping others in difficult circumstances and through mental health challenges. She is particularly interested in working with children and giving them the best start in life. She believes that early intervention is the key to achieving long-lasting positive changes in clients’ lives.

Chaya also has extensive experience in working across the life span. She delivers individualised and client-centered support which empowers clients and helps them reach their full potential. Chaya has the ability to engage well with each client at their level. She is able to tailor her interaction, communication and treatment approach, appropriate for each client.

Chaya practices in a warm, calm and engaging manner. She treats each client as a special and unique individual, making them feel heard and worthy of support. Chaya has experience in working with depression, anxiety, ADHD/ASD, life-related stress, maternal/post-natal health, behavioural management, anger, emotional regulation and grief/loss etc. along with experience in psychological assessment.

Yixuan Li is a registered psychologist who provides warm, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children (7+), adolescents, and adults. Born in China and moving to Australia at age 17, she brings both personal and professional understanding when supporting clients from diverse backgrounds.

Yixuan believes therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. Her approach is person-centred and flexible, adapting to each client’s individual needs and interests. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients, including autistic individuals and ADHDers, and often incorporates storytelling, games, or creative activities—particularly when working with younger clients.

Yixuan has experience working in private practice with international students, neurodivergent clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She supports people with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. Her therapeutic work draws on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR Level 1), and Internal Family Systems-informed techniques. She also works collaboratively with parents, schools, and other health
professionals to provide holistic support.

Yixuan is passionate about animal-assisted therapy and has previously worked alongside her therapy cat in session, helping clients feel calm and safe. Outside of work, she fosters cats through the Lost Dogs’ Home and enjoys spending time with her own cat. In her free time, Yixuan enjoys playing video games, watching anime, practising martial arts, and
weightlifting.

 

 

Ben Chen has experience providing welfare and psychological services in public and private hospitals, schools, and community settings. He is committed to working inclusively with people to discover their strengths, show self-compassion, and build great lives. Ben is neuroaffirming.

A Clinical Psychology Registrar, Ben is committed to evidence-based practice.  Ben draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), schema-informed practice, internal family system-informed practice, and trauma-informed approaches to help people make sense of their experiences, build coping skills, and reconnect with what matters to them. He can help with stress, anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar, trauma, psychosis, substance use, grief and loss, personality vulnerabilities, and neurodivergence. Ben is warm, approachable, fun, and collaborative.
